These terms govern your use of www.sweepleague.com and the ReviewBomb API. Please read them carefully before creating an API key or subscribing to a paid plan.
By accessing the site, generating an API key, or subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Notice.
If you do not agree, do not use the service, generate an API key, or enter payment information.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have reached the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an API key or subscribe.
Definitions
Service means the ReviewBomb website, public pages, widgets, API, alerts, reports, and any related functionality operated by MKP Digital.
API Key means the unique credential issued to you that identifies requests to the ReviewBomb API.
User means any individual or entity that accesses the Service or uses an API Key.
Paid Plan means the Indie Monitor, Pro / Publisher, or Enterprise subscription tiers.
Account and API keys
You are responsible for keeping your API Key secret. Do not share it, expose it in client code, or publish it publicly.
You may request deactivation of a compromised key by emailing kontakt@mkpdigital.dk.
We may suspend, restrict, or revoke an API Key if we reasonably believe it is being used in violation of these terms or poses a security risk.
API key generation is rate-limited per IP address. Attempting to circumvent rate limits is prohibited.
Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable law, including the GDPR and Danish data protection, consumer, and marketing laws.
You may not use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others.
You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, networks, or other users’ data.
You may not interfere with the availability, integrity, or performance of the Service for other users.
You may not use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or other harmful or unwanted content.
API restrictions
Each API Key is subject to the daily request limit of its current tier. Rate limits are enforced automatically and may result in throttling or suspension.
Public use of ReviewBomb data must preserve attribution and comply with any usage guidelines published in the API documentation.
You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense API access without a separate written agreement.
You may not use automated means to scrape, cache, or replicate the site or API in a way that exceeds your tier limits or evades technical restrictions.
We reserve the right to change API endpoints, response formats, and rate limits with reasonable notice.
Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we do not store your payment card details.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
You can cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from your customer workspace. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
Refunds are at our discretion, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact kontakt@mkpdigital.dk.
Trial periods are offered where stated. At the end of a trial, the subscription converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled.
We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Price changes apply to the next billing period after the notice period ends.
Intellectual property
ReviewBomb owns all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, and content, except where otherwise noted.
You retain ownership of data you submit or make available through the Service, but you grant us a limited license to process it as necessary to operate the Service.
Data derived from public Steam reviews remains subject to Steam’s terms and applicable third-party rights.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
ReviewBomb aggregates and analyzes publicly available Steam review data. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data or alerts.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or EUR 100 if you use the free tier.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Denmark, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your EU country require otherwise.
EU consumers retain any mandatory rights under EU consumer protection and distance selling rules that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will always be available at https://www.sweepleague.com/terms.
Material changes will be communicated by email to the address associated with your API Key or by a notice on the site. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
